this place was perfection from start to finish. the staff made our wedding weekend super special, like cute notes on the mirror n cakes in the room. the location was amazin, close to everything we needed. breakfast was really good too!
the room next to us had a loud tv, so it was kinda noisy at times. would like better soundproofing.

Staying at the Holmes Hotel was a real treat. The decor had a charming Sherlock Holmes theme, with stylish details that added to the atmosphere. My room was spacious and clean, featuring large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The shower was excellent, providing a refreshing experience after a long day of sight-seeing. I loved the complimentary water bottles in the room, a thoughtful touch that made my stay more comfortable. Location-wise, being close to Baker Street station made it super convenient to explore the city. I faced a few issues. The air conditioning could be noisy and ineffective at times, which disrupted my sleep. Breakfast being served a la carte instead of a buffet felt limiting, as I missed out on some variety in the morning. While the staff were generally friendly, some interactions felt rushed and a bit dismissive, particularly during lunch hours at the restaurant. this hotel has so much potential but could improve on its dining options and staff attentiveness during busy times.

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was stunning and super clean. The free teddy and bag were delightfully unexpected. Breakfast was a culinary masterpiece, truly sensational!
The kids found the sofa bed more uncomfortable than a night on a park bench. You'd think we were trying to make them sleep on a cloud!

Perfect for solo travelers looking for comfort
First off, I had a moment that really struck me when I checked in. Iolanda at the front desk was just so cute, a breath of fresh air after traveling, and later I enjoyed some pea soup at the bar that was just excellent, maybe a bit unexpected but delicious.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly it felt worth it.

The breakfast at The Holmes may lack a buffet, but the local food scene is buzzing—just a stroll away, you've got gems like Fucina and The Rajdoot waiting to be explored. Plus, the vibe of the lounge area really hits the spot for a chill evening. And let’s not forget, the complementary water bottles are a sweet touch for thirsty travelers!
Checked in late and had to wait 'til after 3pm. my room was a wee squeaky, disturbing every move. The aircon was temperamental, and the window wouldn’t shut without a wrestling match. Plus, had a bit of a scavenger hunt for more tea bags—only the ‘weird & wonderful’ flavors were available.
